How many years of professional experience do you have?

  • The DJ's who work for TEAM DJ are recruited for their previous mobile experience. You will always get an experienced DJ that can handle any situation.


Will you assist us in pre-planning our reception?

  • Our phone lines are always open to you. If you have a question, we are always here to assist you. It can be a Disc Jockey question, or a question on any of our other services. We have a lot of knowledge to pass along to you.


Can we meet our DJ before the event?

  • You will meet with your DJ approximately one month before your event to cover all of the details of your wedding reception.


Does the DJ make all the announcements?

  • Your DJ will make all the announcements from the Grand Entrance up to the Final Goodbye. Also, they will keep track of the time schedule, keep the photographer and videographer informed of all the events, take requests from the guests, and make sure the bride and Groom are the center of attention all night long!


Do you have a variety of music?

  • Our Songlist has over 1,500 selections to get you started. It is listed here on our website, and a hard copy is sent to you with our brochure. It is the largest songlist sent out in the Columbus area. All the songs are separated into categories. We have thousands of additional selections, also. If you don't see something, just ask us. You can choose as many songs as you like. Also, you can have the DJ take requests from the guests.


Can we bring our own music?

  • Absolutely!


Can you provide music for the ceremony, also?

  • Yes. Check out the last page in the songlist for suggestions.


Will the DJ be properly dressed for the occasion?

  • It is important that your DJ looks the part by dressing in formal or semi-formal attire (your choice). Be sure to specify the type of apparel that your DJ should wear. There is no extra charge for formal attire.


Do you use professional equipment?

  • Yes, we do. There is a difference between home audio equipment and the professional equipment that we use at the shows. Our equipment is made for the road, day in and day out.


Can we control the volume at the event?

  • Yes. If at any time you would like us to raise or lower the volume, it would be our pleasure to do so.


Will our DJ be there on time?

  • Our DJ's arrive an hour before an event's scheduled "start time," to allow plenty of time to set up. Setting up and taking down the equipment is included in the cost of the evening. Your DJ will also stay as long as you like, if the party is going to go past the scheduled "end time," for the same hourly rate.


Does the DJ take any breaks?

  • No.


What are your hourly rates?

What is the deposit? When is it due? When is the balance due?

  • Our standard deposit is $100.00. When you get our brochure, we put a hold on a DJ for two weeks, to allow you to make a decision. After that, your contract is still good up until the event, if there is still availability.
